Choose Rippling when

You want one large platform across HR, payroll, time, benefits and other workforce systems, with built-in payroll tax filing.

Choose Springroll when

You want fewer modules, a simple per-worker product, and a direct way to let your own agent harness work with payroll and HR data.

How Springroll is different

Springroll keeps the workforce record, payroll runs, time, expenses, leave, documents and onboarding together. Stripe handles the Springroll subscription and Resend handles email. Tax calculation, tax filing and wage movement are provider integrations, so those services can be selected separately.

Springroll also exposes organization-scoped tools through REST and MCP. You can connect those tools to Codex, Claude Code or another MCP-compatible harness and decide what each agent may read or change.

Springroll is not trying to copy every HR suite.

If you want bundled benefits, a PEO, global employer-of-record services or a payroll provider that files taxes directly, one of the larger platforms may fit better. Springroll is for teams that want the core operating record and agent access without buying every adjacent service from the same vendor.
