springroll
Payroll jurisdiction coverage

We ship payroll state by state.

Springroll does not turn an unsupported tax into a zero-dollar guess. We graduate each jurisdiction through source verification, testing, historical replay and production approval, then expand based on the states customers actually need.

Unsupported obligations block payroll instead of being estimated as zero.

Current rollout

“Preview” means calculations exist but one or more production gates remain. “Payroll ready” will mean Springroll can safely run the applicable calculation vertical for that state. “Full service” additionally includes filing/remittance/reconciliation coverage.

VirginiaVAPreviewPreviewPreviewBuildingVirginia withholding calculation exists but is not production approved. Virginia unemployment uses the VEC $8,000 annual wage base and source-specific reportable-wage model; the employer-specific VEC rate remains organization configuration. Virginia local employee income/payroll tax is marked not applicable based on the cited Code of Virginia provisions; business-license taxes are outside payroll withholding. Deposit scheduling, filing drafts, year-end drafts, and evidence reconciliation are building in shadow mode; transmission, remittance, amendments, and wage movement remain blocked.
